The longboats of the distinctly Viking flavoured touring festival Heidenfest are looming off the coast of the UK ready to ravage the UK leg of their power metal ramage this October.
The 6 band bill headed by Finntroll will be the biggest bill of its kind seen in recent years with each band playing a different flavour of Battle/Folk Metal. Heidenfest sounds a rallying cry to all heathen warriors, pagan brothers and Viking berserkers to unite in an evening of drink, rock and rebellion. Taking place 11 October in London’s HMV Forum, Heidenfest Uk‘s bill features Finntroll, Turisas, Alestorm, Arkona, Trollfest and Skálmöld

Octobers Cybersonik Festival, Camden Underworld.

The one day festival Cybersonik has announced a bill of 7 acts including V2A and Machine Rox. Taking place at Londons Underworld venue on Saturday October 15th the event promises to play host to the same sort of electronic heavy hitters last seen at the recent Backlash event. Full billing for Cybersonik features V2A, Method Cell, Machine Rox, Kommand+Kontrol, TerrorNation(formerly known as 19ninetynine), Decayed Reflection and Dreams Divide. Each of these bands are independently awesome, but together, and for the minuscule price of £12 on the door, £11 in advance at www.ticketweb.co.uk or at a reduced rate of £10 directly from bands CyberSonik also looks to be quite a bargain. This event marks the latest in a series of small cost effective industrial festivals that don’t skimp on the quality of their acts in search of an appealing price.  Promoted by Synchotrax events, a branch of London based EBM/Industrial act Machine Rox’s self publishing label Cybersonik is continuing the momentum generated by events like Backlash and Dark 7, all of which have been well received and utterly appreciated in the scene.

International EBM icons VNV Nation have unveiled a series of UK tour dates starting this October to follow their August performance at Bradfords EBM festival Infest. The dates are currently listed as an extended live sets with special guests yet to be confirmed.

The tour dates will follow the September release date of the new album Automatic. Preorder details have yet to be announced.
