Download 2014 has scored an iconic addition to its 2014 line up with the announcement of rock guitar legend Richie Sambora. Best known for his work with Bon Jovi, the hard rock hero’s four decade long career has seen him transcend genres, collaborating with the likes of Cher, LL Cool J and Eric Clapton, while his three solo albums encompass experimental rock, blues and beyond, earning critical acclaim on his most recent, 2012′s ‘Aftermath Of The Lowdown’.

To get these two genres to fuse properly is to force two dominant forces to work in tandem. While Stoneburner is not the only band to do this successfully, they have certainly carved out a niche for themselves in the way they’ve gotten the two to mesh – neither genre really dominates the other.
