Korpiklaani - Metsälle.
Finnish folk metal pioneers Korpiklaani have recently completed the recording of their 8th studio album due for release this Summer. Offering a taste of the upcoming release, the band are proudly offering up the brand new track ‘Metsälle’ for free download.
Guitarist and vocalist Jonne has explained the concept behind the song’s lyrics saying “‘Metsälle’ can be seen as kind of a prayer to the ancient gods to ask for luck for the tough hunt deep in the woods in cold winter time. Not only is the old man in the song praying for success, but even more importantly, for a safe way through the dangerous frostiness.”
