System:FX’s new EP Overdrive barrels away with its pacey, bass driven opener establishing a pretty consistent level of energy for the whole release. While ‘Overdrive’ is splendidly mixed and surely bound to be a club hit it can’t help but feel slightly sample heavy at times. ‘Destroyer’ has the same sense of bouncy bleepy club friendly keys with the sinister urgency of many a modern EBM track.

Shortly after the release of their brand new video single “To The Stage”, Yorkshire Metalcore quintet Asking Alexandria have announced a series of UK dates for January 2012. ‘To The Stage’ is the third single from the album ‘Reckless And Relentless’ and sees a last minute rush to the stage take a suitably reckless turn.
