Nemacon 2011. 2 Days Of Animated Antics.

In just over a week all manner of cosplay and anime inspired antics descend upon Middlesbrough with the second annual Nemacon convention.  The event has a number of returning guests and panellists like Akemi Solloway, the well respected Japanese culture and etiquette specialist and Manga-ka such as Chie Kutsuwada, but Nemacon also builds on last years success with a short martial arts masterclass from Chris Jones.
Jones will be heading up Q&A on movie fighting including demonstrations and a workshop introducing moves and techniques commonly used for effect in films. Afterwards Chris will be inviting people to try out what they’ve learned in a ‘Ninja-off’ in the main hall. Chris has had experience working in productions such as ‘Left 4 Dead’ and ‘Insiders’ as well as working on the movie ‘Blood the last Vampire’.
Closing up the event on Saturday are live performances from Visual Kei inspired act Machina Shogunate and Steampunk goths Alice Moving Under Skies in the official Nemacon 2011 after-party.

As the event draws near separate after party tickets are being made available. Weekend tickets will give attendees free access to the after party but separate tickets for the gig itself can be bought on the door priced at £5 per person paid on the door. A limited quantity of weekend tickets for Nemacon will be available on the door priced at  £21.50.

Entry to the Yu-Gi-Oh tournament costs £2.50 on the door  to non- Nemacon Ticket Holders.
