A new youth development is underway at a Stockton Community Centre with plans to establish a mobile skate park and other facilities. A meeting is being held this Friday at Grangefield Community Centre to discuss the plans and see just what the site offers.
Prolific youth group campaigner and dress maker, Silver Johnson has stated that this is only the first step in the development, with plans to expand the range of ramps and rails for local Skateboarders to use.
“a new fenced off area has is already in place, and will start will the mobile skate park but then you can add more things the more money we raise.”
Silver is optimistic about the development saying “its a great opportunity to start a skatepark in Stockton and we would like you to attend this get together so we can discus what other activities you would like on site”.
If you wish to have any input on the development or simply see whats on offer the meeting starts at 6.30pm this Friday.
