The Geek Show on CVFM
Last Monday marked the first episode of a nerdy institution in the making. Fronted by the trio of “Moley” and the two Robs, The Geek Show on Community Voice FM (105.5FM in the Teesside area or available for online streaming here).
The inaugural episode featured discussions on problems and practicalities of motion sensitive gaming like the Xbox Kinect, Nintendo Wii and Playstation Move, The lack of research into the effects violence in gaming, a wide range of music and a plethora of recommendations for self identified geeks everywhere.
The Geek Show is a pleasant blend of information, anecdotes, and Moley’s Anarchic comedy. The two Robs bring a professional edge to the show with informed opinions and discussion, and DJ Phil (8-bit and electronic DJ better known as LastKnight) so far has remained in the background handling the stream chat room.
The second show is due to broad cast this and every Monday between 5 and 7pm.
