They’re all coming out of the woodwork at the ever popular Over-Drive rock night, Middlesbrough which this month alone plays host to InMe and recent Download Festival performers Fei Comodo. InMe built up a head of steam back in 2002 racking up high number of sales for debut single Underdose as well as a consistent presence on music television. The band has since carried on with steady releases as recent as 2009. This latest return to the touring circuit comes quite close to another band ready to reclaim rock glory with Wheatus playing at The Crown this June. Wheatus whose popularity peaked with Loser soundtrack single Teenage Dirtbag in 1999 are set to be supported by North East alternative rock outfit We’ll All be Heroes. Tickets for Wheatus are available in advance from Over-Drive Promotions for £10.
Its not all ghosts of rock past at The Crown with acts like Malefice and Random Hand regularly turning up to represent a new wave of rock at the venue, only serving to bolster the solid night that is compered by DJs Knightsie and Tubby every Thursday till 2am.
Tickets for InMe are available from The Crown, Middlesbrough and clothing store Kindamajick until 5 tomorrow for £6 and are priced at £8 on the door
