Angelspit: The New Industrial Mafia

Angelspit: Digital Noise Terrorists

Card-Carrying digital noise terrorists Angelspit have hit our shores and have begun their reign of havoc and industrial fury in venues across the nation. Necromag will be there at their Sunderland date this Thursday, so please feel free to rock out along side us.

But what to expect from the band themselves?

There is an abundance of material online to show you just what to expect from Angelspit’s touring exploits  including a video illustrating how the industrial mob’s aesthetic translates to the stage. A video has been made available on their Vampire freaks page featuring a live performance of Princess Chaos from the current album Hideous And Perfect. The clip presents the band ahead of strobing fluorescent lights performing with riotous force.

The dates, including stops at Sheffield and Sunderland are set to feature all of this and more. The UK dates are confirmed to include a modest selection of merchandise including new T Shirt designs like ‘Alice in Vulgar Land’ and examples of the Miss X Aesthetic Laboratories range. Now its usually an assumption that bands will bring merchandise on tour with them but Angelspit have always had a strong D.I.Y ethic, handing out creative tips through short Blipverts to their fans and constructing their own unique merchandise. The latest and most unique of these is the Miss X range which includes precision cut acrylic pendants and specially developed make up.
Angelspit have always represented equal parts scorn and elegance to me and the more I hear the more I’m convinced this tour is not one to miss.
