One simple question mark has initiated a wave of wonderous bewilderment amongst music fans this week, especially if youre particularly fond of Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails. Twitter users following @trentreznor were privvy to a series of question marks leading to nin.com, where still photos of computers and music production hardware, as well as a blurry photo of the man himself, have been made available to those with eyes to see and time to waste. This rather cryptic set of affairs will of course remind one of the Rob Sheridan related photos for the “Ghosts” album, leading many to speculate that some of the new NIN material coming in 2010 will be of the instrumental variety. Trent of course waved goodbye to us a mere 6 months ago to concentrate on his family life, and now hopefully will return to the fray with something completely different. Because lets face it, “The Slip” was mediocre at best. A nice freebie, but Trent is capable of genius, and maybe having a wife at his side will bring out a side of Trent not yet captured on record.
