The Defiled - 1888 EP

The Defiled - 1888 EP

Necromag has had its eyes and ears firmly set on London band The Defiled for quite a while with track “The Resurrectionists” on heavy rotation in our offices.

In September The Defiled released debut EP, 1888 based around the time of Jack The Rippers bloody reign in Whitechapel area of Victorian London (which has recently become quite a trend in alternative music with Electro-Goth act FAQ also delving into this killers bloody exploits for inspiration).

The EP features our favorite track and 4 more slices of The Defiled. This band is a breath of fresh air in the frankly stale metal genre at the moment and has already been well received by the music press including magazines like Kerrang.

The Defiled are also hard working tour band, recently appearing with Ted Maul and are fast earning a reputation as a must see live act as well as receiving some good online publicity.

Regardless of where they are headed we look forward to hearing more from this band soon.

The EP is available to purchase for download at Amazon and other stockists.
