Rumor has it that Nine Inch Nails will release a new album soon. Rumors began stiring  at Sonisphere.

A friend of Metal Hammer staff at the festival, who has been working on the Nine Inch Nails/Jane’s Addiction tour, informed us that there is “a new Nine Inch Nails album, completely finished and ready to go.”

The rumors suggest that the album will be released in a similar format to the “Ghosts” and “The Slip” online releases for download when the time is right. While noone has heard this new album, not even this mysterious source, the album, is being described as “sprawling, epic, more like ‘The Fragile’.”
