Recently I am digging “Total Brutal” by Austrian Death Machine, a side project of Tim Lambesis, guitarist of  Metalcore band As I Lay Dying. As you may have indeed guessed from the front cover, the Governator himself is the basis for this collection of songs. Whilst technically a comedy metal outfit, the songs really are heavy as hell, with Tim playing all instruments himself, apart from guest guitar work from several members of the US thrash/metalcore scene. With song titles like “Come with me if you want to live” and “Screw You (Benny), you really have to be affiliated with the works of The Gummy King Of Candycornia to find the references as hilarious as I do.

While Arnocorps got in there first, this band have perfected Ahhnold metal to the highest order, yes it is very brutal.
