Sophie Lancaster Murder Appeal…..
Posted on: October 29, 2008 by: OxkingWe finally got an outcome today on the appeal. Incase you have been stuffing your balls up your gob this year, you will have heard of this case. If not, go here.
Anyway, what I guess is a good result is that only one of the murderers got their sentences reduced. Ryan Herbert got 9 months knocked off his, while the rest had their appeals rejected. While I still feel that this is case has not been taken seriously enough and that ALL involved should be serving life sentences, at least this appeal on the whole was denied. I just pray that the following is set in stone.
Ryan Herbert to now serve 15 years and 6 months after his appeal.
Brendan Harris to serve 18 years.
Joseph and Danny Hulme to serve a minimum of 5 years and 10 months.
Daniel Mallet to serve 4 years and 4 months.
Justice? You decide.

Sad thing is none of these guys will serve that amount, and I disagree about wanting life sentences for them… they should all be lined up against a wall and shot.
I suppose a problem with all of this is if we were to give them what they truly deserve then can we still keep the moral high ground?
