Although it may have seemed like it as it has been an Aeon since my last post. Ox King has been battling a chesty cold, head demons and life in general. Rest assured I have a god fucking damned plethora of rants, reviews and revelry to share with you people, should i get a day off my “job” ahem….

So, whats been keeping me amused during this brief period of self deprecation? Well aside from the usual internet porn I recently procured the entire first series of Californication. This 12 part series starring David Duchovny as a sex addicted, self loathing writer trying to juggle his relationships between his love for the booze, drugs and pussy as well as his love for his daughter and his ex is a fantastically shallow excuse for Duchovny to basically have the time of his life. His character Hank Moody allows him to engage in threesome’s, oral sex from nuns, vomiting on priceless artwork, some truly memorable one liners and all the finest women Cali has to offer him while giving a fantastic two fingers up to his enemies, a violation of a very sexy Scientologist and a nod to Slayer fans with his book titles. All in 12 episodes. These types of TV characters only come around once in a while and it is good to see the US give Mr Mulder another memorable role. Well worth your time.

Jeez its good to be back.
