Welcome to the weekend again readers! It seems like theres ne’er a week that goes by on Necromag without the slightest mention of Burlesque. This weekend we have the Luxor Lounge making an appearance at the Studio In Hartlepool, touting itself as an old school rock and roll night with just a smattering of belly dancing too.
With a decent body of acts the Luxor Lounge also boasts the return of Rebel Yell, a band thats been recieving quite the amount of buzz in print publications fsuch as Kerrang fr their live reputation and a number of appearances locally, such as their performance at the Crown a few weeks back.
Alongside the now typical Friday offerings of burlesque we have a musical revival going on today and tomorrow. Tonight sees the appearance of Rhombus, a North East goth act in the vein of the Cult and the less dirgier side of Bauhaus opening the long awaited season of goth gigs at club night Persecution at the Falchion closely followed by the second of the newly reformed Decadence goth nights live events at the Georgian theatre. This time around Decadence boasts the appearance of Goth weekend veterans and electro upstarts Deathboy.
Necromag will be at both to cover them to best of its ability and tensile strength.
