If you don’t know what this is about let NecroMag tell you. Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend were attacked August 11th last year whilst walking through a park by a group of kids. Chavs more like. NecroMag does not like chavs. Well one of the group, aged 16, pleaded guilty to murder in court today, and the others to GBH. In the interests of impartiality, being a biased and liberal Blogazine we officially should remain firmly on the fence. But OxKing doesn’t like the fence. I hope the judge gives the murderer enough time to think about what he did whilst in prison that he comes out grey and sore-arsed. I hope the rest have their lives tarnished and ruined by this senseless act of violence as much as it has ruined the lives and families lives of the victims. I hope that one day we will have a society that welcomes people from Goth subcultures and treats them with the dignity and respect all human beings deserve. But this isn’t going to happen is it? Instead our society descends further and further into anarchy. Our justice system mocks the victims by giving the murderers and rapists free lodge, board and tv in comfort, as well as ridiculously shortened jail time for “good behaviour.”
I treat each and every chav like they deserve to be treated, with contempt. Let us never forget chav means Council House And Violent.
Rant over for now. Lets get back to the matter at hand. Please arm yourselves with the knowledge of this case here. Please sign the government petition to get crimes like this treated like Hate Crimes, because this is what it is, and this will help harshen the sentences for people who commit crimes against anyone alternative. It happens every day, but we just accept it. This is unacceptable people. Every time a taunt is shouted at a goth it should be treat just like an act of hatred, and dealt with accordingly.
Most importantly never ever let acts like this stop you from being alternative or different. The Goth and Alt culture is a special part of this country, and if we lose that we are officially fucked.
